Blurb: Honor, integrity, and loyalty are how Deputy US Marshal Kreed Sinacola lives his life. A former SEAL now employed by the Special Operations Group of the US Marshal Service, Kreed spent most of his life working covert operations and avoiding relationships. Never one to mix business with pleasure, his boundaries blur and his convictions are put to the test when he finally comes face-to-face with the hot computer geek he’s been partnered with. Hell-bent on closing the ongoing case for his longtime friend, he pushes past his own limits and uncovers more than he expects.
Aaron Stuart strives for one thing: justice. Young and full of idealism, his highly sought after computer skills land him a position with the National Security Agency. Aaron’s biggest hazard at his job is cramped fingers, but all that changes when he is drawn into the middle of a dangerous federal investigation. Aaron gets more than he bargained for when the FBI partners him with a handsome and tempting deputy US marshal. His attraction to the inked up, dark-haired man provides another kind of threat altogether. Aaron tries desperately to place a firewall around his heart and fight his developing feelings, knowing one misstep on his part could ultimately destroy him.
The solution isn’t as easy as solving the case, which is treacherous enough as it is. But the growing sexual attraction between them threatens to derail more than just Kreed’s personal convictions as he quickly learns temptation and matters of the heart rarely fit easily into the rules he’s lived by. Will Kreed be able to convince Aaron to open his heart and face the fact that sometimes the answers aren’t always hidden in code? (End Blurb)
Review: Working in a difficult situation with a difficult person can be daunting. Working in a difficult situation with a partner you want in your bed and can’t have would make most people throw in the towel. Kreed has spent his life in difficult situations. His work partner was more like a brother. They would take a bullet for the other, and one did. Now he is partnered with Aaron Stuart, the guy who turned down his offer of a hot date, the guy who looks so much better in person then he does on Skype, the guy who is so smart he makes Kreed wonder if he even has a brain. But there is more, more to Aaron Stuart than Kreed can put his finger on. And he wants to get to the bottom of his feelings, cause he always trusts his feelings.
Aaron Stuart is a nerd whose closest friends are computer code, game controllers, and a hard click keyboard in his lap. His desire for good has landed him in a safe house with the one man he can’t be with. Ever since he saw this hot, undercover, detective on a Skype call he knew his heart would stop beating if they were in the same bed. Seeing him dressed in leather at the airport, gave him a hard-on that wouldn’t go down. Now he shares confined quarters with that same man. And, he’s been put into a dangerous position that he is ill prepared to handle.
Kreed and Aaron dance around the elephant in the room as they try to solve a mystery, a mystery that has murder, conspiracy, and fraud written all over it. But can they stay professional and not let their desire for each other get in the way? Can Kreed protect Aaron as he is thrust into the nest in his first time undercover? Can Aaron keep his hands off the one man he would love to dominate him?
Kindle Alexander is one of my favorite authors. I look forward to her next book and read them as soon as they publish. Full Domain was not the exception when I say she had me from the first paragraph. This mystery is packed with suspense, sexual tension, and hot romance – all of which Kindle is great at writing. I rarely give 5 star reviews so saying that Full Domain is worth all five stars is saying a lot, for me. And the heat – well let’s just say this book is hot!
